SUPER EASY GENTLE YOGA - This is a mellow class for everyone, and very accommodating to newbies! "Gentle" refers to the physical positions, which are mild so as to avoid strain.
FLOW STYLE - Variations on sun salutations. A moving yoga class with weight-bearing postures. Moderately vigorous. Instructions given during physical participation. For fit, non-injured students.
VIGOROUS FLOW - Saturday morning 9am is a 90 minute class with repeated vigorous sequences and intermediate asanas. The class is done with heaters.
EASYGOING FLOW - Mild pace and plenty of explanations for newbies. Standing poses and strengthening sequences. Lots of stretching.
VINYASA ROCK CLASSICS - An easygoing flow style class done to classic rock of very good taste and choice. The sequences are taught in both silence and music. This is a moving practice and is intended to be somewhat of a workout. Fit, uninjured participants of all ages and levels are welcomed!
STRETCH & MEDITATION - The current season's theme is to become less stressed. The meditation techniques are simple and the process is made approachable and
QUIET HATHA HOUR LEVEL 1 & 2 - Traditional hatha yoga poses experienced in a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Inversions are taught. Fit, uninjured beginhners are welcome to try this class. Diligent observation of asana demos' and quiet presence is required. Quiet. Quiet. Quiet. Friday's class is an ongoing ZZ fundraiser.
Participation in all classes is by teacher & owner Zane Ferris' approval only. The ability to hear and follow directions is pre-requisite, and all levels of fitness can flourish with such cooperation. Disclosure of injuries, permanent disabilities and neuromuscular illnesses is advised to assure our work is continous.
